How to Get to the Most Beautiful Places in Italy

Italy is one of the most famous places to visit in Europe because of its long past, fashion scene, art scene, and delicious food. Italy is full of interesting places to see, things to do, and things to visit. You will never be boring there. Here are some of the most beautiful places in Italy that you should see at least once in your life if you’re planning your next trip to this wonderful country.

The town of Alberobello

A beautiful little town called Alberobello is close to Bari. It looks like the houses in this town are straight out of a fairy tale because they are white and cone-shaped. The streets are small, and there are lots of nice piazzas and belvederes where you can take pictures of the town that will take your breath away. It’s not a wonder that the town is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with all of its beauty.

The Aeolian Islands

The Aeolian Islands are a great place to get away from the stresses of modern life. The sea around the islands is very clear, making it great for water sports. There is a beautiful castle on Lipari, the biggest island, that would look great in your pictures. Stromboli is another island that is known for its volcano. It might sound scary, but it’s really stunning to see.

The city of Ferrara

Ferrara, which is also a World Heritage Site, deserves to be on this list. This place has a lot of amazing landmarks that will amaze you. There are also the Estense Castle and the Schifanoia Palace in Ferrara. If you go on one of Italy’s many beautiful river trips, you will have the chance to see them. There are so many museums, landmarks, and lovely parks in this beautiful area that you will never regret going.

Italy, Bologna

The oldest university in Europe is in Bologna, which is mostly viewed by students and smart people. But Bologna is also known as the food capital of Italy, so if you want to eat well, go there. Lasagne and ravioli, two of its specialities, are especially worth trying.

The city of Verona

Verona is one of the loveliest places in all of Europe, not just Italy. Of course you know why, but just in case you forgot, it’s the setting for Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet. You can touch the figure of Juliet and see the famous balcony here. If you have time, you can also go to the Roman amphitheatre.

This is Siena

During the summer, Siena is a great place to visit if you like horse races with a bit of mediaeval bravery. Every summer, there are two Palio horse races, and everyone who wants to compete has to dress like a knight in armour and fancy outfits. There are also many Gothic and Renaissance buildings in this city, so if you like history and design, you will have a great time here.

The city of Perugia

If you want to do something a little more easy and relaxing, you might want to go to Perugia. This town on a hill is known for three things: food, chocolate, and jazz. Even though it feels like the Middle Ages and is peaceful, the town is anything but quiet. The jazz makes it come alive, and people come from all over the world to buy the wonderful chocolate.

Take a look at some of the most beautiful places in Italy when you’re planning your next trip. There is no doubt that you will want to return to Bologna or Perugia again and again after trying their delicious food or chocolate. Also, there are a lot of beautiful sights that you need to see for yourself. For short, there’s no question that any of the above places would be a trip you’ll never forget.
